In the heart of the mining boom a small engineering company made itself known to the regular companies working on Perth’s St Georges Terrace. Calibre’s growth coincided with China’s demand for Iron Ore and Rio Tinto’s and BHPB’s desire to service this demand. Mining Photography had itself just commenced in 2005, with its founder, Andrew Cutten, working as a Civil Designer for Calibre’s Rail division. Over a period of 6 months, Mining Photography captured an array of imagery for use by Calibre’s marketing division. A selection of this imagery is provided in the gallery below.
